Hello, I’m Mark Eiland, a business consultant and business equity investor based in Austin, Texas.
My background is in IT services, Merger and Acquisition projects and Internet marketing working for corporations such as Bank of America and IBM as well as owning and selling my own marketing businesses.
Along the way I've worked on various size merger and acquisition projects from small home-grown start-ups all the way up to a $5 billion dollar deal, I’m a published author on small business marketing and have helped many business owners that were struggling to keep up with their competition more than triple their revenue.
I’m a principal owner of Mercury Equity Partners, a marketing consulting company. At Mercury Equity Partners we work with business owners of established businesses making $1 MM plus in annual revenue. The focus of our work is to design and implement business and marketing strategies that immediately grow sales and profits so the business can transition from an income stream business into a valuable asset that the business owner, should they desire, could sell in the future for multiples of its value.
Your income is the money you generate today and it means nothing in the future. Your assets today don’t mean much today but they mean everything to you in the future.
The assets you build today are substantial things that will generate and continue to generate income for you over a long period of time and at the time you don’t want to do it anymore those assets are something someone else wants and will pay handsomely for and that is the key to what Mercury Equity Partners works to achieve for our clients.
I'm also the founder and owner of LocalVeterinaryMarketing.com. We deliver done-for-you Internet marketing services for veterinary practices. Our services are structured to help our clients dominate their specific niche in their local, regional, or national market.
Lastly, I’m a founding Executive Board member of the Equity Investors Network. As business equity investors we look for opportunities to work with businesses making $1 MM to $20 MM in annual revenue and increasing their value 6 to 10 times in 18 to 24 months.
